Budapest Scientology Community Marks 10-Year Milestone

Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to mark the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology’s Ideal Org on Váci Road.

Dedicated in July 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become a centre for worship, education and community activities. The anniversary brought together a religious Budapest service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.

During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
